Muriya has roped in international consultants AEB-Assaf as design and supervision consultants for Golf Lake at Jebel Sifah in Oman.

Golf Lake, which comprises 14 buildings and 131 studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as lofts, has been designed to overlook Jebel Sifah’s recently opened nine-hole Harradine golf course, the Oman Observer reported.

At the heart of Jebel Sifah is the picturesque Marina, a four-star 67-room Sifawy Boutique Hotel and a five-star hotel. The destination also boasts a range of freehold waterfront apartments and luxury ocean-view villas, and an array of lively restaurants, shops and service outlets, all complemented by first-class recreation and entertainment facilities.

A joint venture between Orascom Development Holding and Omani master developer Omran, Muriya said it has witnessed good demand for its Golf Lake residential units with almost 90 per cent of them (along with all loft apartments) having been sold out within 12 weeks of their launch.

The project’s freehold properties come in a multitude of sizes, with each unit featuring an open-plan kitchen area, ensuite bathrooms, top quality fixtures and finishing, said the report.

Included as part of the development are a wide variety of athletic and leisure facilities for homeowners to enjoy, such as an oasis-style water feature with an integrated infinity pool, a barbecue area, a 700-m jogging track, and a dedicated children’s playground.

The residential project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2018.
