Dubai Properties is set to invest over Dh10 million ($2.7 million) in community enhancements at its Remraam residential project, located in Dubailand.

The Dubai developer had awarded the contract to build 450 new free visitor parking spaces within the community to Gulf Landscape and Irrigation Systems.

Construction has commenced, with delivery of Phase One scheduled for September and Phase Two for November 2017, says the company.

The infrastructure enhancements at Remraam involve the widening of access roads that will alleviate traffic congestion during peak hours. Wade Adams Contracting is working on the expansions, with the initial phase of the project anticipated to be complete by November.

In addition, the resort-sized pool, ideal for families with children, is undergoing upgrade and maintenance work, and is scheduled for handover in Q3 of 2017.

Masood Al Awar, the chief commercial officer at Dubai Properties, says: “Enabling the growth of community developments and ensuring their systematic enhancement is a priority for Dubai Properties. The significant investment towards strategic developments within our communities reaffirms our commitment to enriching the living experiences of our residents.

“From providing additional parking to expanding access roads, we are working closely with appointed contractors and service providers to ensure that deliverables are on track.”

Remraam community launched in 2014, comprises a total of 34 clusters including 68 buildings and over 4,000 apartments offering investors and buyers contemporary, spacious, and high-quality apartments.

Conveniently located between Jebel Ali Free Zone and Al Maktoum International Airport, Remraam features all the necessary amenities – including a retail centre, a community centre, and a nursery – within walking distance.
