More than 140 regional and international brands will display their latest products and solutions for industry professionals in the Middle East at Gulf Glass, the largest flat and container glass event in the region, to be held this month, in Dubai, UAE.

The event will take place from September 25 to 27 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The trade fair is a leading one-stop shop for all things glass, as it hosts suppliers of finished products, glass production technology and machinery, glass processing and finishing solutions, measurement, testing and control technology, tools, replacements and spare parts, as well as auxiliary equipment and fitting, said the organiser, dmg events Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Muhammed Kazi, event director of Gulf Glass, said: “The flat glass market is expected to exceed $134 billion by 2023, while the global construction glass market will reach $121.8 million in the next five years, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.1 per cent.”

“Indeed, the demand for innovative and green solutions for the built environment is surging in the region; glass, a sustainable and fully recyclable material, is the perfect solution to today’s challenges, providing energy-efficient cooling and lighting systems,” he said.

Some big industry names participating at the event this year include HIET, Mountain Glass, Tec Pro, Glass Source, Mega Enterprise, Glaver Gulf, and Electro Glass, it added.

Marcel Dagher, general manager of HIET, said: “This premiere glass exhibition has emerged as a principal meeting place for the global industry.”
