Nedaa wins Sharjah airport contract

Sharjah International Airport has awarded a major contract to leading wireless communications firm Nedaa for installation of a base transmission station and supply of 400 Tetra-based wireless communication devices.

Under the contract, Nedaa will provide the airport with a key line of advanced digital wireless communications solutions which have been specifically customised to support its internal operations.

Nedaa will also supply, install, operate and guarantee a Tetra-based Airbus base transmission station. It will further provide transmission network services and wireless communication devices, which include 400 Tetra radios to be used by the airport’s essential communications personnel.

The move is aimed at strengthening the airport’s security levels – preserving the confidentiality of information and communications, said a senior official.

 

RAK Ceramics declared ‘Superbrand’

RAK Ceramics, a global hi-tech manufacturer of ceramics solutions, has been conferred the ‘Superbrand’ status at an event in Dubai for the seventh consecutive year in recognition of its strong brand values.

Superbrands is an independent organisation that hosts the annual event to recognise the UAE’s best brands and is considered the world’s largest independent brand arbiter. 

RAK Ceramics has a global annual production capacity of 117 million sq m of ceramic and porcelain tiles, 4.6 million pieces of bath ware, 24 million pieces of tableware; and a distribution network that spans 160 countries.

 

Enshaa hands over luxury project

UAE-based luxury real estate company Enshaa said it has started handing over all the 169 ultra-luxurious Residences at Palazzo Versace in Dubai Creek to its owners.

Boasting spectacular views of the Dubai Creek, the property is located just 10 minutes away from the airport and downtown Dubai.

The residences, which have been inspired by the spirit and design flair of House of Versace, are aimed at setting new standards of elegant living in Dubai, said a top official at the handover ceremony.

“Ranging in size from one to five bedrooms, the Residences at Palazzo Versace provide a lifestyle experience that truly reflects the opulence and sophistication for which House of Versace is globally renowned,” remarked Enshaa CEO Raza Jafar.

He said every element is a testimony of Italian luxury craftsmanship.
