FAM Holding to develop resort

FAM Holding has acquired a 126,000-sq-ft plot on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island to develop a new resort.

The Al Mahra Resort, which will be a 45-minute drive from Dubai, is scheduled to open in 2021.

With 548 guest rooms, food and beverage outlets including meeting rooms, swimming pool, wellness club, spa and gym, the upscale hotel is the perfect addition to Al Marjan Island’s scenic locale, the developer said.

Featuring contemporary designed elegant lobby and VIP check-in areas, the resort will be a modern oasis with a sense of clean, sophisticated style and comfort. Children will be able to enjoy and explore a range of activities in a specially designed environment comprising a kids pool, kids zone, kids club, play station and other gaming facilities.

 

 

913 buildings go up in Abu Dhabi

The number of constructed buildings in Abu Dhabi reached 913 during the second quarter of 2017 compared to 751 buildings during the same period of 2016, said a report.

The Abu Dhabi region topped the list for  most number of constructed buildings in the whole of UAE, with 470 buildings being constructed by the end of the second quarter compared to 398 during the same period in 2016, a growth rate of 18.1 per cent, stated the Wam report.

Residential buildings constituted 85.5 per cent of the total completed buildings during the quarter.

 

 

Work starts on Bloom Towers

Abu Dhabi-based Bloom Properties has commenced the enabling works of Bloom Towers, a residential development located in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) in Dubai.

The developer has appointed National Piling to execute the work on the project, which is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2020, a Saudi Gazette report said.

Bloom Towers will consist of three towers with a total of 944 units.

The two towers allocated for sale comprise 689 studios and one-bedroom apartments.
