US-based Hill International, a leader in managing construction risk, has received two contracts to provide programme management consultancy support services in connection with the Living Communities Programme in Saudi Arabia.

The two contracts received from the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) have a combined estimated value to Hill of approximately SR22.5 million ($6 million).

The SR1-billion ($266.5 million) Living Communities Programme is designed to support the industrial cities of the kingdom by offering healthcare, education, commercial and social amenities. The first phase of the programme will include residential communities supporting the cities of Jeddah, Dammam, Sudair, Al Kharj, Madinah and Hail.

“We are very excited to be part of the Living Communities Programme,” said Mohammed Al Rais, regional president (Middle East) for Hill’s Project Management Group.

“This programme will have a major positive impact on the targeted cities,” he added.
