Bahrain’s Prime Minister looks at the model of a project at a previous show.

The Gulf Property Show (GPS) has firmly established Bahrain as an important real estate trading hub, said Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE),  the event’s organiser.

The show has grown year on year by over 48 per cent in three years, he revealed.

The 2016 edition of the boutique showcase for real estate and property developments will take place in Bahrain alongside two other major exhibitions – gulfBID, the  annual expo for construction and building materials, and gulfInteriors, a premier exhibition of interiors, design and furniture.

Held under the patronage of Bahrain’s Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the trio of trade shows will run from April 26 to 28 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIECC).

Gulf Property Show highlights commercial and residential real estate developments in Bahrain, GCC, Turkey, the US, the UK, and Europe to a targeted audience of investors.

“The Gulf Property Show is a trusted window to the GCC’s real estate and property development industry. Bahrain’s financial and real estate regulatory framework is a contributory factor to the success of the show in attracting the kingdom’s leading developers to showcase and launch current and future developments,” added Abdulrahman.

Gulf Property 2015 was attended by 7,200 unique registered visitors who ensured that many developers left the show with sold-out developments.

“The growth of Gulf Property Show for 2016 looks positive; with six months to go before the opening of the exhibition, we have already sold 60 per cent of the exhibition space and we have strong enquiries from both Bahrain and internationally for the remaining spaces,” said Ahmed Suleiman, HCE exhibition director.

“The 2015 Gulf Property Show was considered by many of our exhibitors to be a business success. One exhibitor sold 24 pieces of land during the three days of the exhibition, while other developers completely sold out the project on display at the show,” Suleiman added.

Gulf Property Show 2016 carries with it the strategic sponsorship of Diyaar Al Muharraq and Manara Developments and the support of the Bahrain Property Developers Association (BaPDA).

Meanwhile, gulfBID 2016 will take place against a backdrop of increasing investments in Bahrain’s construction and infrastructure sector, said Abdulrahman.

The ninth edition of the popular exhibition for the construction sector in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait has the strategic sponsorship support of Haji Hassan and KMC Holdings, owner and managers of turnkey solution companies throughout the Middle East.
