Vargon of Croatia will be returning to The Big 5 show for the seventh consecutive year, where it will showcase its range of plastic pipes and fittings for sewerage systems and hot and cold water systems.

“We have been exhibiting at The Big 5 since 2009. We are very satisfied with the show because it is the most important building exhibition in the Middle East where you find visitors from all over the world,” says Maja Sepac Rozic, export manager for Vargon, adding that the show had helped the company establish a large number of contacts and find customers in Saudi Arabia, Malta and Italy.

He adds: “In 2009, when we exhibited for the first time, we aimed to find new customers in the Middle East. However, after our debut at the show we found that you can get contacts from elsewhere as well, such as from Europe and Asia in addition to the Middle East. So it is a good opportunity to be present there.”

Vargon will be promoting its four main brands, namely Vargoterm, Vargokal, Vargoplen and Vargokor.

• Vargokal are PP (polypropylene) pipes and fittings for sewerage systems in buildings and come in diameters from 32 to 160 mm. The range also includes low-noise pipes from 50 to 160 mm in diameter.

• Vargokor comprises HDPE (high density polyethylene) corrugated sewer pipes and fittings for waste water and sewage produced from 200 to 800 mm outside diameter; other corrugated sewage pipes offered in inside diameters of 250, 300 and 400 mm; and polyethylene manholes in 625, 800 and 1,000 mm diameters.

• Vargoterm includes PPR (polypropylene random) pipes and fittings for hot and cold water distribution systems in buildings with diameters from 20 to 110 mm.

• Vargoplen consists of HDPE pressure pipes for water systems outside buildings with diameter ranging from 20 to 250 mm.

Additionally, on display will be its Vargokal Plus 3S range of silent pipes for residential sewerage, a new brand launched by Vargon last year. “We will present this product together with other brands,” says Rozic.

Vargon’s head office and production facility is located in the industrial zone in Kukuljanovo. It employs 200 people and enjoys an annual turnover of $23 million.

Vargon will be exhibiting at Stand 4E181, Hall 4, at The Big 5 show.
