Depa, the Middle East’s premier hotel interiors contracting company, and Mivan Limited of Northern Ireland, a specialist theming contractor for over 15 years, announced the launch of Mivan Depa.

The new company has been created to offer specialised themed interiors for development and entertainment projects in the Middle East region. As Mervyn McCall, managing partner and director of Mivan Limited said: “Mivan and Depa have come together to address the exciting challenges that this region is experiencing in the theming sector. Depa has a fantastic reputation and coupled with Mivan’s wealth of international theming experience, we hope to work on mammoth, commercial developments such as Dubailand and also high-profile museums projects in the region.”
The new entity has been created to capitalise on the combined resources, providing a dedicated service to cater for specialist interior and exterior theming requirements in the Middle East and Gulf region.
Mivan has been a specialist theming contractor for over 15 years. The company was the biggest single contractor to work on the original build of Euro Disney in Paris. It now employs many hundreds of skilled artistic and build craftsmen, and can carry out turnkey projects for design, art direction, manufacture and execution of theming requirements.
