Property Monitor, a product of Cavendish Maxwell, one of the UAE's leading property and construction consultancies, has became the only real estate data source in the UAE to provide a real-time real estate index to Bloomberg to display on its terminal.

The Bloomberg Terminal is a computer software system provided by the financial data vendor Bloomberg that enables professionals in the financial service sector and other industries to access the service through which users can monitor and analyse real-time financial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform.

Most large financial firms have subscriptions to the Bloomberg Professional service. As of October 2016, there were 325,000 subscribers worldwide.

Property Monitor was developed by Cavendish Maxwell in response to a need for greater market transparency, said the company in a statement.

It offers more comprehensive house price data, both public and proprietary, than anyone else in the market, said a company spokesman.

The data is sourced from Cavendish Maxwell and a growing network of reputable real estate brokers who provide data exclusively to them, he stated.

"Property Monitor is in a unique position to provide meaningful insight by way of access to the valuations, research, investment and development advisory teams of Cavendish Maxwell," said the spokesman.

"In addition, its project and building consultancy team is one of the few companies approved by Rera (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) for property inspection handover reports and reserve fund studies," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
