Damac Properties said its four-tower master-development Damac Towers by Paramount, is nearing completion, after logging a record 25 million safe worker hours, eight times more than the industry average of three million hours.

The record marks almost 2,000 days of incident-free work.

 Located in Dubai’s Burj area and developed in collaboration with Paramount Hotels & Resorts, the multi-award-winning complex rises 250 m high and offers exclusive access to beautiful landscaping and pool areas on the podium level, health and fitness facilities, on-site parking and high-end dining establishments.

 With over 2,000 units, the project comprises hotel apartments across three towers and a single hotel tower with over 800 hotel rooms operated by Paramount Hotels & Resorts, said the developer. The development will have a total built-up area of 4 million sq ft, and an estimated sales value of $1.35 billion, it added.

 “Zero incidents is our most important performance benchmark, with worker safety being a critical factor in the decision-making processes when selecting our construction partners,” said Ali Sajwani, the general manager of operations at Damac Properties. “Damac Towers by Paramount is a four-tower master development that demanded considerable effort and care during its construction. As we work to finalise the remaining elements to bring the project to completion in the coming months, we are happy that we have set a new safety record with our partners at the site.”

Meanwhile, Tower 108, Damac Properties’ 34-storey building in the heart of Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is in the final stages of completion, said the developer as it prepares to begin delivery later this year.

Damac has initiated the final delivery and installation of various decor elements, unit components and door accessories as it prepares to hand over the tower which consists of 404 residential units including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments that come fully furnished and ready to move in.

Tower 108 comprises a ground floor, four parking levels, 28 floors and a roof top, and includes world-class facilities such as a swimming pool, kids pool, play area and a Jacuzzi and gym.

Damac said the tower brings contemporary living experiences that combine the comforts of home with the service standards of a luxury living. The artfully-planned design delivers panoramic views of the surrounding neighbourhood and the podium levels provide external landscaped areas, while the ground floor public areas integrate with the JVC masterplan.
