Saudi Arabia has successfully built the region’s first house using 3D printing technology in the capital Riyadh, in partnership with Dutch company CyBe, a pioneer in the technology, said a report.

The National Housing and Industrial Development and Logistics Program, a part of the kingdom’s Vision 2030, said it had succeeded in the first home building experience, using one of the latest technologies of the fourth generation of building technology, reported the SPA.

The 3D printed house has been set up on a housing ministry plot located west of King Khalid International Airport. The model house was kept open last month to specialists, workers, engineers, architects and construction companies to conduct their project studies, the report added.
