Dubai-based Home Designs declares that its first year in business has been “excellent” and its products are gaining popularity in the UAE as well as in the export markets.

Established in February last year, Home Designs manufactures and installs PVC, laminated, postformed and solid wood kitchens. The company is part of the Danube group which was established over a decade ago.
Home Designs has supplied to several villa projects in the UAE. The local market absorbs  about 65 per cent of its production, with the remaining is exported to the other GCC countries as well as Africa.
The company also deals in sanitary ware, parquet flooring, doors and wardrobes.
Home Designs has showrooms in Dubai and Muscat (Oman) and has plans to open one in Abu Dhabi shortly. It also intends to expand to the other Gulf countries.
Elaborating on plans for this year, a company official says: “We have been offering custom designs for kitchens over the past year.  Now we are looking at launching 12 to 14 standard designs over the year.”
