Kirby Building Systems-India has recently inaugurated its second plant in Haridwar, Uttaranchal in India, says Marwan Karadsheh, vice president of the manufacturing group of Alghanim Industries, the parent company of Kirby.

The new plant, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, was completed in a record time of seven months, he adds
The 30,000 sq m facility will have a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes of steel per year and will cover the Northern Indian market. It will add to the capacities of Kirby India’s first plant established in 2000 at Pashamylaram, near Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and the company’s main plant in Kuwait.
“This new facility makes Kirby, a pioneer in pre-engineered steel buildings in the Middle East and India, one of the largest manufacturers in the industry,” Karadsheh points out.
Kirby’s extensive product range covers high-quality steel buildings, light gauge buildings, guardrails, sandwich panels, industrial racking systems, space frames and decking systems. It provides systems for factories, warehouses, cold stores, showrooms, offices, camps, gas stations, supermarkets, aircraft hangars, residential, industrial and sports buildings, mosques and car parks.
“The advantages of Kirby Building Systems include single-source responsibility, faster, economical and maintenance-free installation, large clear spans of up to 90 m, flexibility in expansion, earthquake resistance and energy savings, among others. The company also applies the latest international manufacturing codes with complete dedication to satisfy its customers worldwide,” adds Karadsheh.
