Fujairah Cement, established 20 years ago in Dibba, Fujairah, says it has been associated with National Readymix, one of the premier readymix concrete companies in the UAE, for a long time catering to its needs for various types of cement for the prestigious construction contracts executed by the company.

Fujairah Cement claims to be the largest cement factory in the UAE with 1.2 million tonnes of clinker capacity and 1.6 million tonnes of grinding capacity.

"The company, well known for its high quality and consistency, manufactures Ordinary Portland, sulphate-resisting and moderate sulphate-resisting cement conforming to British and American standards," says a company spokesman

"Fujairah Cement complies with 52.5 N strength class, guaranteeing the highest strength for buildings," he adds.

The plant employs the latest dry process technology with highly sophisticated, centralised control system, according to the spokesman.

The X-ray analysers and the other latest testing equipment help continuous product monitoring of chemical data at each stage of production to ensure high quality.

Fujairah Cement was accredited to ISO 9002 in 1999, and has, in addition, won several other awards for high quality and technology, he says.

The company's products have been extensively used in most of the major construction projects in the UAE and the neighbouring GCC countries.
