THE King Fahad Causeway Authority has signed a SR168-million ($44.7 million) contract for the operation, maintenance and complete testing of the causeway between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The contract comprises operation, maintenance and full testing of the causeway over 26 km from the toll gates on the Saudi side to the toll gates on the Bahraini side, facilities on the island and in government procedures.
