The eighth edition of Gulf Industry Fair 2015 concluded last month (February 3 to 5) in Bahrain on a positive note.

The three-day fair at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre attracted key business visitors who interacted with more than 60 exhibitors from across 19 countries representing the sectors of aluminium, industrial processes and manufacturing, metals, energy and environmental protection, ports and maritime, training and safety.

Exhibitors raised the curtains on new brands, innovative products and technologies at the fair.

Among the key exhibitors was Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP), which aimed to attract investors particularly suppliers to Mondelez International, following the launch of a $90-million biscuit plant for the US-based company at the business park.

Tebodin Middle East-Bahrain, a multi-disciplinary consultancy and engineering firm, showcased its design, engineering and construction supervision capabilities.

Flagship companies of Eastern Asphalt and Mixed Concrete Company (Eamco) showcased their diverse range of services. Among them was Eastern Precast, which is currently focusing on developing new products that offer thermal insulation in line with the company’s goal of promoting eco-friendly construction.

A forklift with a reduced turning radius and Orbiter, a multi-location storage technology stole the limelight at Banz Trading and Contracting’s stall at the fair. 

Nass Corporation, Bahrain’s diverse conglomerate with synergistic divisions and subsidiaries that cater to the full spectrum of industrial sector needs, showcased its range of services and the products at the fair.

Kooheji Industrial Safety, the sole distributor in Bahrain for leading American company Honeywell Safety Products, offered a new line of products called Honeywell Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the show. This included specialist safety solutions for protective footwear, head wear, and eye wear.
