The Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body and operator of the kingdom’s airport, has signed up Al Yusuf Décor to design its new headquarters in Manama, Bahrain.

The scope of work includes supervision of the entire project including construction work, fit-outs and interior design.

BAC will be shifting into the new headquarters building, located in the aviation compound opposite Bahrain International Airport (BIA) in the first quarter of next year. The compound is also home to regional airline Gulf Air’s head offices.

The new contemporary offices will feature open workspaces to encourage interactions between co-workers besides spacious meeting rooms, offices and breakout areas.

CEO Mohamed Yousif Albinfalah said the relocation into brand new offices is in line with the company’s strategic objectives which aim to enhance the work environment and make BAC a great place to work, boosting business and improving performance as a result.

“These have been designed to strengthen employee engagement and communication and provide a comfortable workspace for all our staff with ample parking facilities and conveniences. In addition, our new headquarters are strategically located close to BIA and to some of our key aviation partners, fostering greater co-operation,” he added.
