Crystal Mall ... a Bamardouf project.

HAVING recently set up a showroom in Tabuk, Bamardouf Decoration Establishment is looking to further boost its presence in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia by opening additional showrooms in Madinah and Jeddah this year.

Founded in 1968 by Mohammed Oboud Bamardouf who continues to sit at the helm of the company as its chairman, Bamardouf Decoration Establishment has over the years grown to become one of the most respected decoration companies in Saudi Arabia.

It is a leading wholesaler of interior building materials such as acoustical ceilings and flooring products, offering a diverse range of ceiling choices including acoustical mineral fibre ceiling tiles from Daiken (Japan), laminated gypsum board from Boral (Australia), gypsum tile, aluminium strip and open cell ceilings along with suspended ceiling systems. It also offer gypsum board partitions, gypsum joint compound, light fixtures, wall-coverings, vinyl flooring from Gerflor (France) and Tarkett (Sweden), and venetian blinds, said Khatib AlKhatib, business development manager of Bamardouf Decoration Establishment.

Among the recent additions to its portfolio are aluminium ceiling tiles from Ram Metal Industries of the UAE and raised flooring systems.

Shera Tower, Dammam ... features ceiling and partition work by Bamardouf.

It is also launching a new product, known as SoundMicro, an innovative acoustical material, without black tissue at the back to reach an incredible NRC (noise reduction coefficient) of 0.8, says AlKhatib. “It is a durable and water-resistant material with an amazing 400,000 holes per sq m,” he says. “SoundMicro is not only acoustical but also a decorative material.”

In addition, the company operates two factories that specialise in the manufacture of aluminium strip ceilings. These facilities, which are located in the area of Al Khobar, and Riyadh, serve the requirements of the Eastern and Central provinces of Saudi Arabia.

Having expanded its portfolio of services over the years to include ceiling, floorings, partitions and associated works, Bamardouf now offers total turnkey interior décor services or can provide its services on a supply or supply-apply basis.

The bulk of its business comes from its specialisation in ceiling and partitions work with notable projects including the King Abdul Aziz International Airport (under a subcontract from GCS), the Oncology Centre at King Faisal Hospital, Shera Tower in Dammam, Al Tadawi Hospital and Inco Factory in the Dammam Second Industrial Estate. The company has also carried out numerous projects throughout Saudi Arabia, including a Royal Commission of Jubail housing project, the Coral hotels in Jubail (gypsum board partitions) and Al Khobar (wallpaper); King Faisal University at Al Hasa (vinyl flooring and skirting for the laboratory under a subcontract from Gulf Amar); and Anak Hospital (supply and installation of vinyl flooring).
