Reynaers Aluminium has recently unveiled its next-generation aluminium window system as the successor of its internationally acclaimed Concept System at a key exhibition held in Belgium.

The new MasterLine 8 made its world debut at Polyclose, a European fair for window, door, sun protection, entrance and facade technology, staged in January (14 to 16). Reynaers’ latest innovation is now scheduled to be showcased for the first time in the Gulf region at the Windows, Doors & Facades 2016, which will be held in September (18 to 20) at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE.

“With the introduction of this new ground-breaking aluminium window system, Reynaers has pushed new boundaries,” says Ali Khalaf, managing director of Bahrain-based Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the leading European aluminium systems provider.

MasterLine 8 marks a key milestone in the 50-year history of the company, he adds.  Belgium-based Reynaers Aluminium has grown, both nationally and internationally, into a leading company with its other key milestones in its journey having included the launch of the Thermo System in the 1970s and the current Concept System in the 1990s.

“MasterLine 8 stands for maximum comfort and security for the end-user. It offers enormous architectural freedom with numerous design variants and scores high in terms of energy-efficiency.

“With the development of the new system, special attention was paid to the manufacturing and installation of the windows. Therefore, we can find the innovative character of MasterLine 8 in an optimised production process, an efficient assembly of the components and a simplified installation of the finished elements,” says Khalaf.

Apart from MasterLine 8, which is now available in the market, Reynaers also put other innovations in the spotlight at Polyclose.  These included the recently launched SlimLine 38 series, an ultra-slim series which comes with a high degree of insulation and is available in three unique design variants (Classic, Cubic and Ferro).

These profiles have a ‘steel look’ and are described as being ideal for modern architecture. According to Khalaf, they are perfectly suited for new buildings, where the unique slim lines allow for an abundance of light, and also for the retention of existing structures, allowing users to preserve the vintage appearance, or for renovation projects where steel frames have to be replaced. The profiles’ appearance give a strong industrial and minimalistic architectural appeal to buildings. All windows and window-doors are available with hidden hinges to further add to the system’s excellent design.

In addition, Concept Patio 155, the sliding window system for heavy glass, was launched with open corners, while the minimalistic sliding window, Hi-Finity, was presented with a motor of the newest generation.

“With MasterLine 8 and all the other innovations, Reynaers reconfirms its reputation as a pioneering developer of high technology and innovative solutions. The company also reiterates its ambition to continue to fulfil this role in the future together with its fabricators and installers,” says Khalaf.

Reynaers Aluminium manufactures a wide variety of window and door systems, curtain-walling, sliding systems, sun screening, conservatories, skylights, screens and systems to incorporate blinds and ventilation grids. Established in 1965 and with its headquarters in Duffel, Belgium, the company has offices in more than 30 countries worldwide.
