Officials inaugurate the new line.

Leminar Air Conditioning Industries, a leader in quality HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) ductwork manufacturing in the region, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art FFC-UK manufacturing line for fire-rated ducts in Doha, Qatar.

The new line will allow Leminar to cater to HVAC contractors’ growing requirements of fire-rated duct systems.

The installation will also ramp up the overall production capacity of the facility. At present, Leminar manufactures HVAC rectangular ducts, sound attenuators, fire dampers, VCDs (volume control dampers) and VAVs (variable air volume) systems at the 25,000-sq-ft facility, which is ISO 9001:2008 certified and is equipped with an automated duct line and a range of other modern machinery.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Navin Valrani, CEO of Leminar, said: “We have steadily invested in our facilities and employees, focused on innovating our product range and developed our own brand, as part of our strategy to establish ourselves as the undisputed industry leader. With the added capacity and continued support of Dyarco, we will now consolidate our lead in sheet metal fabrication.”

Dipak Bhadra, general manager of Leminar, added: “With fire safety protocols and regulations getting stringent, HVAC contractors are becoming more discerning and the demand for fire-rated ducts is growing. The new line will help us serve the market even better.”

Leminar Air Conditioning Industries is the exclusive licensee manufacturer of Fenland fire-rated ducts in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. It owns one of the region’s largest ductwork manufacturing facilities located in Dubai.
