King Salman Park spans 16.7 sq km, making it seven times larger than London’s Hyde Park.

King Salman Park, Riyadh’s landmark urban green space and a central pillar of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, is advancing rapidly as one of the world’s most ambitious urban regeneration initiatives. Substantial work has been done on its foundational green infrastructure and cultural venues.

Spanning 16.7 sq km – making it seven times larger than London’s Hyde Park – the project is designed to improve quality of life, boost Riyadh’s global ranking, and offer residents and visitors expansive recreational, cultural, and commercial amenities.

Set to be the world’s largest urban park, King Salman Park will offer over 11 sq km of open green space, one million trees, a 7.2-km pedestrian loop, the Royal Arts Complex, the National Theatre, and a central valley surrounded by art and water features. The park’s integration with five metro stations and 10 bus stations ensures citywide accessibility, aligning with Riyadh’s transportation and sustainability strategies.
