Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Business Council through its design consultant Atkins is preparing the tender for the SR1 billion ($266 million) Al Rajhi Tower in Riyadh to begin construction in August.
The pyramid-shaped structure will rise to 352 m and form the focal point of a new mixed-use development.
The building is to be located on King Fahd Street and will cover a plot of 62,000 sq m. The 50-storey Al-Rajhi tower will contain a six-floor commercial and office centre, retail outlets, a seven-star hotel, a mosque and a helipad.
