Parsons Corporation has announced that it has been selected by Al Ittihad Club Company, the oldest sports club in Saudi Arabia, as the project management consultant for its Al Ittihad Sports Village project in Jeddah. 

This integrated development, located close to King Abdullah Sports City, represents new work for the company. 

The award advances the project’s design phase and includes the club’s headquarters, academy training pitches and facilities, performance development centers, administrative buildings, and commercial assets, said Parsons in a statement. Nearly 70 of Parsons’ 80+ year history have included a portfolio in Saudi Arabia, dating back to 1958 when the team designed and delivered the Dhahran Airport (now known as King Abdulaziz Air Base) and today the team is made up of more than 3,000 employees. 

From urban and destination development, transport infrastructure and smart mobility to industrial and commercial development, asset management, and resilience, Parsons draws on its global expertise and local knowledge to deliver projects that are aligned with national development priorities.
