Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has unveiled its $8.1-billion master-planned community – Azizi Florence – thus marking its debut project in Sharjah.
The freehold development will feature 1,130 villas, more than 6,000 townhouses and 3,500 apartments, with three-bedroom townhouses starting from $515,000 at $231 per sq ft of sellable area.
Designed as an integrated destination, Azizi Florence will bring together residential, retail, hospitality, education, leisure and wellness offerings, centred around a 1.7-million-sq-ft Central Park.
It boasts six residential clusters that will each feature a park, clubhouse, community centre and landscaped gardens.
It further expands Azizi Developments’ UAE portfolio, complementing its flagship Dubai projects, including Burj Azizi and Azizi Venice.
Group Founder and Chairman Mirwais Azizi said: “Returning to Sharjah after more than three decades is deeply meaningful to me, as this emirate was my first home in the UAE and an important part of my journey.”
“With Azizi Florence, we are proud to bring back that connection through a community designed for families, wellbeing and a high quality of life,” he added.
Azizi said it continues to accelerate the delivery momentum across its wider portfolio. The Emirati developer has handed over seven projects in the last nine months and aims to hand over an additional 10 projects by year-end.
It currently has more than 150,000 units under construction at various stages, reflecting the scale and pace of its ongoing development pipeline.
Azizi said work is moving at a steady pace on its five-star hotel property in Azizi Riviera, Meydan, with the project on track for opening in mid-2028.
The excavation and foundation works are under way, with the main structural construction, facade installation and interior fit-out to follow, it added.
