A Moon resort has been proposed for the UAE.

Moon World Resorts (MWR), the developer of the world’s most innovative experiential destinations, has appointed Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) as the programme managers and cost consultants across all worldwide Moon Smart City developments.

The engagement will see RLB provide its expert services across MWR’s pre-development programmes through full delivery lifecycle of each Smart City Masterplan, thus safeguarding budget discipline and schedule certainty.

Each Moon development is conceived as a Building of Global Significance, anchored by the world’s largest true sphere and a 556-acre masterplan integrating hospitality, entertainment, longevity and wellbeing, education, technology, attractions, luxury residences and AAA commercial real estate.

With a global network and defining heritage spanning over two centuries, RLB brings a track record of unique and complex developments, from early days of pioneering quantity surveying to landmark projects such as the Sydney Opera House, HSBC’s headquarters building in Hong Kong, London UK’s Olympic Games, and City Center Nevada.

Operating in 36 countries with over 4,600 people, RLB is uniquely positioned to support Moon’s global scale and complexity.

It will provide program management and cost consultancy services ensuring budget discipline, schedule certainty, and sustainability standards are upheld from planning through delivery.

Moon resorts will rise in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Africa.
