The finishing touches are being put to the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the largest hotel in the UAE city. Interior works are currently under way and landscaping work is also in progress on site.
Located just off Bur Dubai, on the south bank of the city's creek, the hotel features 674 rooms and suites and 4,340 sq m of function space.
The rooms feature individually controlled air-conditioning and lighting, bath with separate power showers, international direct dialling and voice mail messaging system, spacious work areas with ergonomic chairs, featuring high-speed communication lines and additional power sockets for electronic equipment, minibar, interactive TV with e-mail, Internet access, on-line financial information and remote control for fast-paced video games.
Set within acres of tropical landscaped gardens, the hotel features two magnificent conference ballrooms, 11 meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
The hotel's extensive facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre and spa with an indoor lap pool and Zen-inspired treatment rooms, tennis and squash courts, outdoor pools and nearby golf.
Work on the project is scheduled for completion in December. The consultant is Arkiteknik International and the contractor is Ssangyong.
