Emaar Properties will open the Yansoon Quarter, the Phase 1 of Old Town in October.
The Quarter, the first of three Arabian-inspired developments at the project, is 94 per cent complete.
Zaafaran Quarter and Reehan Quarter, two other projects at the Old Town development in Burj Dubai Downtown, will be ready for occupancy in 2007.

Yansoon features 357 one- to four-bedroom apartments of varying configurations The one-bedroom apartments range from 784 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, beginning at Dh1.1 million ($300,000). Two-bedroom units are from 1,210 sq ft to 2,038 sq ft, beginning at Dh1.6 million ($435,000).
With a building area spread over 3.7 million sq ft, Old Town features courtyard apartments and suq-styled retail facilities recreating the mystical world of ancient Arabia.
Emaar has joined hands with the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (Rakbank) to offer finance mortgage for the remaining apartments within Yansoon Quarter and other Old Town projects.
