Credo Investments and KM Properties have both announced new developments at Business Bay.
Credo Investments will launch The Prism while KM Properties has announced its 19-storey B2B Tower.
The Dh500 million ($136 million) Prism freehold property, which will be completed by the end of 2008, is a 35-storey structure to be built on a sprawling area of 66,000 sq ft. It incorporates a wide range of modern-day features from technologically-advanced energy and environment systems, biometric fingerprint verification for enhanced security to WiFi hotspots, integrated structured cabling for voice and data over Ethernet and smart lighting conforming to ‘green’ environment standards.
Its harmonious design incorporates state-of-the-art telecommunications and video conferencing facilities making corporate life as simple and convenient as possible. Apart from these, the executives can also enjoy the Prism’s gym, swimming pool and other recreational facilities. The Prism has a parking facility for more than 1,000 vehicles spread over three basements and four podiums.
KM Properties, part of the Knowledge Management Group, says the B2B Tower will be completed in October 2008. The striking blue-grey tower has been designed by leading international architect Carlos Ott and is a contemporary fusion of glass and chrome. Ott has a track record for designing landmark buildings, including L’Opera de la Bastille and National Bank of Dubai’s headquarters on Dubai Creek.
Construction will be carried out by Al Rostamani Pegel, a member of the Al Rostamani Group of Companies. The company was created in partnership with the Berlin-based firm Gustav Pegel & Sohn.
Business Bay, with over 64 million sq ft of freehold projects, offices and residences, is amongst the most ambitious initiatives of Dubai Properties.
