Realising the growth potential and opportunities offered by the GCC region, the French consortium ParexGroup (formerly Lafarge Mortiers) has recently formed an alliance with the well-established UAE-based industrial organisation Corrotech Construction Chemicals and is setting up a production facility in the region.

The alliance CCC-Parex – which brings together ParexGroup’s international experience and wealth of technical expertise with Corrotech’s local knowledge and solid reputation – has already started making inroads in the local marketplace.
Construction work is set to begin on its new state-of-the-art manufacturing and blending plant, which is expected to begin producing cementitious renders shortly. The plant is located in the Dubai Investment Park, close to Jebel Ali port, which will facilitate the transportation of imported raw materials and future exports.
With more than 25 years experience behind it in the manufacture of readymixed, single-coat, coloured renders, CCC-Parex will offer the UAE the Monocouche range of products. These colour-through single-coat renders provide an aesthetically-pleasing wall coat solution that are simple to apply and easy to maintain, says a spokesman for the company. Targeted at architects and specifiers looking for a tried-and-tested solution to their façade coating needs, the range is suitable for a wide range of buildings and applications.
Corrotech Construction Chemicals (CCC) is part of the MCT Group and has been operating in the UAE since 1992. Its core business is manufacturing concrete admixtures, epoxy and polymer-based liquid products, in addition to cementitious products, waterproofing and polyurethane coatings and floor systems.
ParexGroup is an international manufacturer of readymixed, speciality industrial mortars, with a leading position in the markets of France, Spain, US, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Australia and Asia.
The company has more than 30 production sites in 13 countries and employees over 1,600 people worldwide.
