Hill International, a worldwide construction consulting firm, has signed a contract to provide project management services during the design and construction phases of Duja Tower.
The Dh650 million ($177 million), 195-m tower, coming up on Sheikh Zayed Road, will consist of 50 storeys plus a ground floor, a mezzanine floor and four basement levels.
The mixed-used commercial and residential tower, expected to have a total built-up area of approximately 167,000 sq m, is being developed by Nasser Abdulla Hussein Lootah.
Hill’s responsibilities under the contract include monitoring and providing advice and recommendations to the client on all design, procurement, tendering and construction activities.
The scope also includes development of document control and project control procedures, programme, design management and construction programme management.
The 38-month contract has an estimated value to Hill of Dh10.2 million ($2.8 million).
