THE Middle East is set to become a key hub for growth for internationally acclaimed architecture and interior design practice specialist Aukett Fitzroy Robinson (AFR).

The architect has 11 offices around the world and three major hubs in London, Moscow and Abu Dhabi. Nicholas Thompson, CEO, said he expected the Abu Dhabi office to provide the greatest impetus for growth. AFR has been currently tasked with the interior design work for two more hotels in Abu Dhabi and is tendering for projects throughout the Middle East and Africa (Mena) region.
AFR was appointed as lead consultant, architect and interior designer by Aldar Properties for the 397-room Radisson Blu Hotel as well as the adjoining 204-room Park Inn Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, which were completed to coincide with the Abu Dhabi’s first-ever Formula One race in November last year.
