DECOVISION, a leading Abu Dhabi-based interior contracting and design firm, has secured a Dh150-million ($40-million) project to furbish the interiors of the Etihad Towers, which is being built on the Abu Dhabi Corniche opposite the Emirates Palace Hotel.
Valued at an estimated Dh2.5 billion ($681 million) and rising over 300 m, Etihad Towers will comprise five towers including a high-end hotel to be managed by the Jumeirah Group and will host an exciting retail mix at its podium level.
Designed by the Australian international design consultant DBI, the towers will boast dramatic design elements and an architectural personality that will be complemented by distinctive interior décor.
DecoVision has been commissioned to execute decoration works for the Jumeirah hotel comprising 400 guest suites and 182 serviced apartments, along with a host of public areas including the lobby, spa, gymnasium, beach and pool bar.
Additionally, the company will execute 12 restaurants ranging from casual-chic to fine dining and an observation deck that will have panoramic views in all directions.
Youssef Farran, managing director, DecoVision, said: “DecoVision will be working on the furniture, fit-outs, joinery and laying out marble flooring and panels.
“The scale of the development has presented us with an opportunity to reinforce our reputation as Abu Dhabi’s preferred interior solutions provider. The expected date of delivery is early 2011.”
