Genavco (General Navigation and Commerce Company) has sealed a long-term distributorship agreement with leading Chinese construction machinery company Shantui to promote its earth-moving equipment in the UAE.
Genavco, a flagship company of Juma Al Majid Group and a leading supplier of construction, industrial and quarry equipment in the UAE, has boosted its diverse product range with Shantui’s earth-moving equipment through this partnership. Shantui will witness a strong market positioning of its equipment as Genavco’s sales staff will be focusing on promoting its bulldozers, excavators, wheel loaders, pipe layers, motor graders and diesel forklifts in the country.
“Shantui bulldozers have secured a 65 per cent market share in China and they are the number one producer of bulldozers in the world for the last three consecutive years,” said a spokesman for Genavco.
The excavator is another exciting product from Shantui, in the six- to 40-tonne class, having an excellent component line like Cummins engine and Kawasaki hydraulics at an attractive price, he added.
“We are proud to be associated with the Shantui brand in the UAE,” said Isam Abu Nabah, president of Genavco. “This will complement our product range and enhance our positioning in providing comprehensive business solutions to our clients in the road, construction, quarry and mining industries, and I am confident that with such quality products in our range, together with Genavco’s strong sales and service back-up, we are definitely looking for a bright future ahead.”
“It was a very important decision for us to partner with a sound and renowned group – Juma Al Majid Group – for the Oman, Qatar and UAE regions,” said Chang Yang, general manager, Shantui Construction Machinery. “Their experience and success in the construction industry will contribute further to the growth of the Shantui brand in the GCC. Genavco’s reputation as a supplier of quality products perfectly matches our philosophy and we have full confidence in their capabilities in delivering and achieving our common objectives.”
