Saudi-based Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company said it has signed a key contract with National Water Company worth SAR221 million ($59 million) for laying of an 184-km long sewer networks system in Hafar Al Batin and Al Qaisomah Governorate.

The scope of work includes the construction of manholes and inspection chambers and other sewer related construction works, said Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

As part of Phase Four of the project, Alkhorayef will undertake the construction of extensive sewer networks with pipe diameters ranging from 200 mm to 700 mm, along with all necessary connections to integrate with the existing sewer infrastructure.

The entire project will be completed within a three-year period, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
