Saudi-listed Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has signed a contract worth SAR126 million (approximately $33.6 million) to supply steel wind towers for the Yanbu Wind Farm, marking a significant addition to its renewable energy portfolio.

The agreement was finalised on April 15 with SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., under which Al Yamamah Steel will manufacture and deliver the towers over a nine-month period.

The company said supply to the project will commence in April 2026, with the financial impact expected to start reflecting from the second quarter of the year.

The Yanbu Wind Farm is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader push to expand its renewable energy capacity, as the kingdom works towards diversifying its energy mix under Vision 2030.

Al Yamamah Steel noted that the contract does not involve any related parties.  -TradeArabia News Service
