The third edition of Plastivision Arabia 2016, the international plastics exhibition and conference, is set to bring to the region this month a host of new machinery and equipment that will help plastic processors gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

To be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from February 22 to 25, it will showcase leading global manufacturers and several technical innovations that can generate outstanding output with minimum power consumption and faster return on investment, said the organiser.

A key exhibitor at the show will be Taiwan-based Polystar, an international major that will exhibit its recycling lines and its Eco-Flex blown film extrusion machine, in which A-B-A (three-layer) blown film technology is used to produce a thinner, stronger film at substantially lower production costs. Visitors will have a chance to see live how A-B-A technology works and order the machines directly, said the organiser.

The line-up of key Taiwanese exhibitors also includes Lung Meng, Matila, KWT, Seal Pack, Auger, Long Durable Machinery, Hao Yu, Chum, San Tung, Pack Leader, Atlas, Kung Long Hong, Inora, Chuan Peng, Vpet and Hemingstone, among others.
