Mobicat MC 110 EVO2 ... designed to handle the heavy pre-crushing stages of quarried stone and commercial recycling.

Following its successful participation at IFAT Munich in early May, where mobile crushing and screening specialist Kleemann demonstrated its advanced asphalt recycling loop, the company isnow shifting its focus to the heavy-duty extraction and aggregate sectors at the Hillhead 2026 exhibition in Buxton, England, from June 23 to 25.

At the leading trade fair for environmental technologies, Kleemann will integrate its field-proven recycling methods with high-capacity quarrying capabilities. Exhibiting as a core member of the Germany-headquartered Wirtgen Group, the brand will operate under the strategic campaign motto “You’ll never crush alone”, highlighting a major showcase of five cutting-edge crushing and screening plants engineered for total process synchronization.

At IFAT Munich, Kleemann established a benchmark for the circular economy by presenting an optimised, multi-brand process loop that effectively increases reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) addition rates from 20 per cent to 60 per cent, delivering a 40 per cent reduction in operating costs and a 20 per cent drop in emissions. The cornerstone of that presentation was a core processing philosophy: screen first, then crush. By utilising aggressive prescreening, operators systematically lower machine wear, reduce the generation of unwanted fines, and optimise fuel economy.

Kleeman is a regular exhibitor at IFAT Munich.

At Hillhead, Kleemann will translate these environmental innovations directly into hard-rock quarrying and high-volume aggregates production. The transition from municipal recycling environments to the demanding conditions of a limestone quarry highlights the versatility of Kleemann’s design framework. The same engineering principles that ensure consistent material recipes and synchronised material flow in asphalt loops are being deployed in England to maximise primary and secondary stone extraction.

Leading Kleemann’s technological charge at Hillhead is the Mobicat MC 110 EVO2 jaw crusher, a landmark unit specifically designed to handle the heavy pre-crushing stages of quarried stone and commercial recycling. This compact jaw crusher combines a smart operating concept with high efficiency and features a simple handling concept with Spective and Spective Connect. Innovative control and overload systems, the continuous feed system, and an independently vibrating double-deck prescreen optimise material flow and increase the plant’s utilisation rates and the overall performance of the jaw crusher.

Complementing the jaw crusher line is the compact Mobirex MR 100 NEOe impact crusher. This machine features an all-electric E-Drive powertrain that combines a low transport weight with extreme application flexibility across concrete, demolition debris, soft-to-medium quarried stone, and RAP. At Hillhead, the impactor will be paired with the Mobiscreen MSS 502 EVO scalper to form a perfectly coordinated, high-efficiency production train. Backed by a dual-power electrical option, this combination allows quarry operators and contractors to process aggregates with zero local operating emissions when plugged into an external grid or alternative clean power source.

Wirtgen’s battery-electric road rehabilitation system will be showcased at Hillhead.

To emphasise the vital role of material classification, Kleemann is presenting a representative cross-section of its extensive mobile screening portfolio. In addition to the Mobiscreen MSS 502 EVO, the stand will feature the heavy-duty Mobiscreen MSS 802 EVO scalper and the precise Mobiscreen MSC 702 EVO classifying screen.

The plants showcase cutting-edge screening technology and outstanding versatility that enable them to adapt to a wide range of materials processing applications. Thanks to their dual-power drive option, they can also be operated entirely with electric power. A large selection of screen media, flexibly adjustable screening parameters and an intuitive plant control concept increase process reliability and also improve occupational safety.

Kleemann’s materials processing line-up at Hillhead is structurally integrated into the Wirtgen Group’s broader construction ecosystem. To address emissions during the downstream processing of aggregate fractions, sister brand Benninghoven will present its Multi Jet burner, the world’s first industrial asphalt plant burner capable of running entirely on green hydrogen to achieve a completely carbon-neutral heating process.

Furthermore, the booth will showcase a battery-electric municipal road rehabilitation system comprising the Wirtgen W 50 Re cold milling machine, the Vögele SUPER 1300-5e paver, and the Hamm HX 70e tandem roller.
