A 70 m-free-span space frame weighing around 45 tonnes sits atop the Manar Mall's atrium. The space frame is the largest one of seven such structures fabricated and installed by the Sharjah-based Rasana Contracting Company for the project.

Since its inception in 1971, Rasana Contracting Company has been growing steadily despite intense competition in the construction and contracting sector. Six years ago, Rasana promoted a new company called Rasana Engineering Industries Company Limited which, with its highly professional engineering team, can now design and fabricate a wide variety of projects, irrespective of their nature or size.

Rasana's factory in Sharjah is managed by a professional team consisting of more than 100 qualified technical hands, besides other skilled staff and the erection team.

Rasana operates throughout the UAE with branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and has also expanded its operations to serve the neighbouring Gulf countries such as Qatar, Oman and Kuwait.

During the past three decades Rasana has successfully completed prestigious projects including major federal and local government projects as well as private sector projects. Its most recent projects include the Lamcy Plaza, Dubai Internet City, Emirates Technical Centre, BMW Showroom, all in Dubai and the Sharjah University.
