Traders and businessmen throughout the Gulf have been invited to a major air-conditioning exhibition being held in Bahrain this month.
Aircon Gulf 2001, an international exhibition for air-conditioning and refrigeration for the Gulf, will be held from April 17 to 19 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
"Major companies such as Carrier, Tecumseh, Boke, Walter, SKM, Friederich, New Widetech, Tatung, Media, Awal Gulf and Awalco will be participating at the event, while several principals such as Rheem, Diversitech, Rodha, Copeland and Refcomp will be represented by their local agents," says Tom Jose, project manager at Almadina Exhibition, the event's organiser.
The Gulf is the fourth-largest HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration) market in the world worth $6 billion annually, Jose adds.
The event is supported by ASHRAE - Saudi Arabia Chapter, TTMD - Turkish Society for HVAC, and the Chinese Association of Refrigeration.
