Having successfully completed Dubai’s majestic Al Qasr hotel at Madinat Jumeirah with classic Bedouin and authentic Arabic-style interiors, Romeo Design has secured a string of other striking projects, which are keeping this specialised design and interior decor firm very busy.
On the heels of the prestigious Madinat Jumeirah contract, the Dubai-based firm has been called upon to deliver several turnkey projects in Dubai and across the Gulf region, right from conceptualising the interior theme to creating an ambiance of comfort and luxury which makes a statement of uniqueness, says a spokesman of Romeo Design.
However, a current project that the company is close to completing is in stark contrast to what it has done at the Al Qasr hotel. The five-star Al Moureg Rotana Hotel on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road features modern interiors and decor. The design for the lobby, restaurants and rooms, and suites is western with trendy decors.
Also in Dubai, Romeo Design has taken up another project to design and fit-out the new Metropolital Hotel in Dubai Marina. This high-rise, five-star property requires the standards and styles associated with the prestigious Dubai Marina where every building is an icon in terms of facade elevations and interior design themes, he adds.
At the Burjuman Residence, Romeo Design is supplying its own designer cupboards, which are custom-made to fit into any design.
Elsewhere in the Gulf, Romeo Design is currently working on the Sealine Hotel, a five-star hotel property in Doha, Qatar.
“This is a huge property with mixed design themes for the various sections of the property. The main challenge for us is to integrate these design themes and merge them into one style statement. The work on the project is progressing satisfactorily and we are confident it will add another feather in our cap,” he mentions.
However, the most exciting of the projects for Romeo Design is the total decor and interior finishing of a 75-ft mega yacht. The custom-built yacht is docked in Dubai where work is being carried out to make it the perfect model of luxury, comfort and style.
“While we have carried out a number of such decor projects in the past, this vessel is unique in design and that makes it more challenging for us to come up with interior designs and decor including the special furnishing, upholstery, carpets and curtains,” he points out.
Recognised as a one-stop-shop for classy interiors, luxury furniture, accessories and unique design finishes – for palaces, top-class hotels, malls, offices and luxury yachts – Romeo Design has state-of-the-art production facilities and a dedicated team of designers, decorators and exceptionally-skilled craftsmen.
“This has not only given us an edge over the competition but has also enabled us to meet any challenge in terms of designs, interior decor, furnishing and accessories,” the spokesman says.
“Romeo Design has an impressive record in conceptualising and creating some of the most unique decors in palaces, villas and luxury residences, as well as office interiors and commercial outlets such as jewellery shops, malls and boutiques. The company’s team of experts has succeeded in giving each project its own distinctive identity and grandeur.
In addition, the flair and expertise of the company, coupled with its high-quality product line has enabled it to expand its operations throughout the GCC region,” he adds.
The company’s in-house team of designers and architects – whose skill and artistic talent have helped create visually-stunning concepts tailored to satisfy its highly-discerning clients – have already made a mark on several of the leading projects in the region.
Over the years, Romeo Design has completed various turnkey projects for several five-star hotels, sprawling palaces and villas, furnished flats, boutiques, shopping complexes, and privately-owned yachts in the UAE that include: Hilton Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dusit, Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Metropolitan Hotel suites, Habtoor Residence, and Golden Sands 8-10, Al Nakheel furnished apartments, Dubai International Airport VIP lounge and offices, Dubai Police headquarters, Dubai Creek Tower (all in Dubai); and the American University Dubai and the Millennium Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
