Royal Gulf, the sole UAE distributor of Italian airside equipment manufacturer Mekar, will be providing more than 4,000 fan coil units (FCUs) for Emaar Properties’ iconic structure Burj Dubai, which will be the world’s tallest tower when completed.
The customised double-skin FCUs will facilitate the cooling of the different rooms within the mixed-use tower.

Royal Gulf has already supplied Mekar air handling units (AHUs) and FCUs to the majority of the projects within the much touted ‘most prestigious square kilometre in the world’ in Dubai. These projects include the Dubai Mall, the Burj Dubai Lake Hotel, the Old Town and Emaar Business Park.
“Royal Gulf’s almost sweeping contribution within this lavish, 500-acre, upcoming downtown Burj Dubai district is an important milestone for the 15-year-old company with the Burj Tower adding the ultimate feather in the cap, enhancing our distinct high-end project reference list further,” he adds.
Tuli attributes Royal Gulf’s success in the air-conditioning industry to its quality products, timely delivery and its reliable service.
