International industrial services provider Bilfinger has announced that it has secured a major contract from Nimex Terminals to provide comprehensive engineering services for the development of the UAE’s first Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal hub being set up at Abu Dhabi.
The scope of work includes concept and front-end engineering design (FEED); preliminary design permitting services and EPC tender package, said Bilfinger in a statement.
Primarily active in Europe, North America and the Middle East, Bilfinger’s comprehensive portfolio covers the entire value chain from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance and plant expansion to turnarounds and digital applications.
The company delivers its services in two service lines: engineering & maintenance and technologies.
On the contract win, Marco van der Linden, Vice President Engineering Middle East at Bilfinger, said: "Leveraging our extensive expertise in engineering and understanding of local requirements in the energy sector, Bilfinger is poised to deliver substantial value to its customers while supporting the UAE’s energy ambitions."
