Parsons has won a traffic consultancy services contract for the improvement of the Bahrain Gas Interchange in Bahrain.
One of the major traffic bottlenecks in the kingdom, the interchange is located between the Salmabad Interchange and Isa Town Gate Interchange, along the Sheikh Salman Highway.
The project includes the widening of the existing three-lane divided carriageway and a new grade-separated interchange.
Parsons will also provide feasibility studies, detailed design, and tender evaluation for the revamp.
Parsons has been working in the region for more than 60 years.
