DEEWAN Equipment Trading (D1) of the UAE will be bringing the state-of-the-art products it sources from some of the leading European manufacturers to Saudi Build.

Based in Dubai and with branches in Doha (Qatar) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the company’s success comes from “our promise to deliver top-quality products, dedicated customer service, competitive pricing and an excellent technical support for our valued customers all over the GCC,” a spokesman for the company says.

For large projects, D1 supplies concrete hollowcore and precast making machines, and concrete batching plants. In terms of accessories and spare parts, it supplies handling equipment for concrete products; powder handling screw conveyors; cement and water valves, vibrators, and cement and dust filters used in the concrete and block industry; concrete recycling systems; and straps and strapping machines.

Among the products that will be showcased at the exhibition will be systems from its German principal Probst. With 50 successful years of experience, Probst provides solutions for handling construction materials, such as grabs and materials handling equipment.

At Saudi Build, the company will put the spotlight on Probst’s paver installation machines, which offer simple handling, user-friendly operation, efficiency and first-class performance.

“Offering a compact design and double articulated steering, the VM paver installation machines provide excellent manoeuvrability in confined spaces and job sites,” states the spokesman.

Operators appreciate the high visibility to both the laying edge and what is behind them, ensuring safety and quality work. A low centre of gravity guarantees an optimal static stability at any operating position, he adds.

“The chassis of the laying machine has a double centre steering. Even when driving narrow curves on freshly laid paver surface, the pavers are not shifted. Different track widths of the front and rear axle ensure a low degree of stress on uncompacted pavers,” he says.

Another innovation that will be promoted at Saudi Build is a unique measuring system for silos. This system ensures both safety and cost savings, according to the spokesman.

“It is economical as it prevents the overflow of cement, hence eliminating any wastage; it indicates the exact quantity of cement filled in the silo while controlling the volume of cement from the control room; and prevents environmental pollution. The system also helps to extend the life of cement filters, while ensuring their protection,” he says.

Apart from these products, D1 offers a spectrum of products for the construction industry. For the precast sector, it offers a total solution to produce wall panels, columns, beams, staircases and all other required sections.

The company’s hollowcore production machines from Germany have made a strong impact on the market with striking examples of landmarks throughout the Middle East.

Deewan is also one of the main suppliers for batching plant accessories and powder handling systems in the Gulf and is recognised for its considerable stock availability and technical support, the spokesman says.

Other popular products in its portfolio include concrete pipes machines, concrete batching plants that are provided as stand-alone systems, handling and lifting equipment covering the requirements of contractors as well as producers of blocks, pipes and slabs on both site and factory; curing systems (hot dip galvanised curing chambers); and a total solution for strapping and strapping tools for either steel or plastic with a comprehensive technical support and maintenance.
