MANITAL of Italy hopes to open new doors to business in the region next month when it participates in The Big 5 expo, where it will be introducing brass door and window handles in new bronze finishes.

“The Big 5 show in Dubai brings together all the innovations in the construction world. We will be introducing five finishes with different characteristics, but with a unique common denominator: the bronze colour,” says a company spokesman.

He says three of them are “absolute 2014 novelties”: the Black Bronze Matt, the Dark Bronze Matt and the Bronze Matt with bright edges.

In addition to these, the company will also be offering the Bronze Matt finish and its classic Satin Bronze finish.

Elaborating on the main features of some of these finishes, the spokesman says the Black Bronze Matt is characterised by a very dark bronze matt surface that looks almost black; Dark Bronze Matt creates a warm dark bronze matt surface; while the Bronze Matt with bright edges perfectly suits levers with pure geometrical shapes, he adds.

The Bronze Matt, on the other hand, is a new finish in Manital’s catalogue, featured for the first time in 2013, and is characterised by the brushed light matt bronze colour. And the Satin Bronze is a classical finish that has a brushed light bronze colour with a smooth and shiny surface effect.

Manital was established in 1991 in Vobarno, in the province of Brescia, Italy, as a manufacturer of brass door and window handles. The growth experienced by the company across the world prompted the owners to launch a new production facility recently in Italy.

All of Manital’s production is 100 per cent ‘made in Italy’, with every detail and all production phases entrusted to highly-skilled professionals within the company, the spokesman says.
