The ARC panels offer a contemporary take on traditional wainscoting, featuring rounded, elongated silhouettes and customisable colours.

Belgian interior design company Noël & Marquet has launched its ARC 3D wall panels, a retro-inspired collection designed to bring a “space age” aesthetic to modern interiors.

The panels provide an elegant and sophisticated solution for wall coverings, featuring vibrant and personalised designs.

The ARC panels, designed by Bertrand Lejoly, offer a contemporary take on traditional wainscoting, featuring rounded, elongated silhouettes and customisable colours and finishes. The company says the design aims to capitalise on the revival of retro styles, which are seeing a resurgence in popularity, moving away from minimalist, neutral interiors.

Available in two sizes, ARC S and ARC L, the panels can be combined to create unique wall compositions. Each panel measures 380 x 14.5 x 950 mm.

Noël & Marquet, part of the leading European NMC Group, specialises in decorative interior elements, including 3D panels, frames, skirting boards, and lighting profiles. The company emphasises the panels’ ease of installation, noting they are pre-primed and ready for painting.

“The ARC 3D wall panels are inspired by the ‘space age’ retro-futuristic interiors of the 1970s,” a spokesman for the company says. “They reinterpret traditional wainscoting in a contemporary way, adding character and dynamism to any environment.”

Made from high-density polyurethane using aluminium moulds, the panels are designed to be lightweight and versatile, allowing for various decorative effects and custom compositions. They can be used individually or combined to create constantly new compositions.

Noël & Marquet, which has over 70 years of experience, offers a range of interior design elements, including cornices, chair rails, and skirting boards and profiles for indirect lighting, allowing designers to create bespoke solutions for clients.

The Noël & Marquet brand is marketed in Arabian Gulf region, particularly in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
