Viva ACP, a leading Indian aluminium composite panel (ACP) manufacturer, is solidifying its global presence through innovation and customer-centric cladding solutions. Its latest landmark project in the region is the JAX Studio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which will boast an eye-catching façade with a custom-developed coating.
A vibrant creative hub in Riyadh, the JAX Studio is designed as a space for collaboration and artistic expression and is home to artists, designers and museums. The building’s façade plays a central role in both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the complex.
The design team chose panels from Viva ACP’s Metal Abstract Series for their durability, fire resistance and visual appeal, ensuring that the façade meets the highest standards of both performance and design, according to the company. The 8016 Corten Steel 2 finish, with its distinctive rust-like industrial aesthetic, was selected after a successful mock-up submission.

“The JAX Studio façade was originally specified with RAL 8024 as the base colour. However, following the client’s review of our Corten Steel finish – Metal Abstract Series, the specification was revised to this premium, custom-developed coating,” Nitin Jain, Director Viva Composite Panels, tells Gulf Construction.
“The decision followed a successful mock-up submission of just four to five sample panels, which showcased the depth, elegance, and performance of the finish,” he states.
The JAX Studio – Film City project is at an advanced stage of construction, with façade installation nearing completion. This project is the first in a series of upcoming Film City developments in Saudi Arabia, and Viva has been selected as the preferred ACP supplier for these future phases as well, he adds.
A total of 4,495 Viva ACP panels have been used over a 5,000-sq-m façade area. The exterior not only provides a visually striking identity but also ensures compliance with rigorous fire safety standards, making it suitable for large public spaces. The panels are certified with the SASO Quality Mark and are compliant with international building codes, contributing to the studio’s sustainability and safety, states Viva ACP.

The JAX Studio project underscores Viva ACP’s commitment to expanding its global reach, particularly in the Middle East.
“The Arabian Gulf represents a strategic growth corridor for Viva. Our mission is to deliver not only superior product quality but also local expertise, supply chain agility, and strong collaboration with industry stakeholders. With a robust manufacturing base and expanding regional presence, we aim to penetrate deeper into the Mena market and become the most trusted ACP brand in the region,” Jain remarks.
Viva ACP has a direct presence in Riyadh and is focusing on expanding its regional footprint to cover major cities like Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, Madinah and Al Khobar within the next two to three months. This strategic growth aims to offer localised support, faster turnaround, and on-ground project assistance, he adds.
Elsewhere in the GCC region, Viva ACP operates through its fully-owned entity, Viva Composite Panel Trading in Qatar, which maintains a local stock of more than 50,000 sq m. The company is an approved supplier for Ashghal, the Public Works Authority of Qatar, and has contributed to prestigious projects like the Formula One Circuit developments, Hamad International Airport, Gewan Island, Qetaifan Island, Dafna Park and several high-rise and mid-rise residential/commercial towers.
The company’s supply in Qatar is managed via both direct imports from India and local stock deliveries.
“While we do not execute installation works, we provide full technical and installation support through our trained partner network to ensure compliance with installation standards,” Jain points out.
