Saint-Gobain Weber, a worldwide leader in industrial mortars, has finalised the full integration of Sodamco Holding and its subsidiaries after acquiring a majority stake in Sodamco group in 2009.

With the full integration of Sodamco by Saint-Gobain Weber, Saint-Gobain Construction Products has a strong foothold in the Middle East region, which continues to experience a very dynamic growth in the construction activity, real-estate and infrastructure developments, says a spokesman for Saint-Gobain Weber.

This new development falls in the strategy of Saint-Gobain, which relies on expanding internationally in developing countries and becoming the construction markets’ prime reference in providing sustainable and innovative solutions to save energy and protect the environment.

Established in Lebanon in 1985, Sodamco has grown to become a major player in the field of industrial mortars and concrete admixtures. The company offers tile fixing, façade, flooring, premixed plasters, technical mortars, and waterproofing as well as concrete admixtures solutions.
