
Construction work has started on the 22-storey Al Zamil Tower in central Manama. The piling contract has been awarded to Keller Grunbau. The structure piling for the two connected buildings which straddle Khalifa Avenue over a tunnel, would be completed in two months.
The building is being built by the Al Zamil Group to house some of the offices of the group while also being leased out to prospective tenants.
The consultant is Gulf House Engineering, the project manager is Hisham Abdul Rahman Jaffer, which is also the quantity surveyor and Chapo is the main contractor for the project. Gemac is the consultant for electromechanical services.
